Hoboken Police Arrests Two 16-Year-Olds
The minors were arrested during a robbery-in-progress according to the police.

Police arrested two Hoboken minors just before 1 a.m. on Friday, for robbing a 44-year-old Hoboken man, according to reports.Â
The 16-year-old boys were charged with robbery, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, according to police.
Two police officers driving by the intersection of third and Bloomfield Streets around 1 a.m. on Friday, noticed two teenagers running towards a man and accost him, according to police reports. Police said the victim later told them that one of the minors had a bottle in his hand and threatened to hit him on the head with it.Â

The police car put on its siren and started following the men for two-and-a-half blocks, according to reports. The two were arrested in front of Hoboken University Medical Center on Willow Avenue, between Third and Fourth Streets, police said. Â
One of the two teenagers had  a "Tom-Tom" GPS car charger, an iPod chargers and a phone charger shoved down his pants, according to police reports. He did not explain to the police how he obtained those items and why he had them in his pants, police said. Â
