Hoboken Police Seek Driver Who Hit Bicycle Delivery Man
Police say a driver hit a 65-year-old man on a bike in Hoboken, then left the scene.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken police are seeking a driver whom they say left the scene of an accident on Friday afternoon in which a car hit a delivery man on a bike.
Police say that around 3:14 p.m. Friday, a 65-year-old man working to deliver food on his electric bicycle, when he was hit by a car.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Observer Highway and Jackson Street in the southwest corner of the city, near the Jersey City border, police say.

Police say the driver left and was reported heading south into Jersey City.
An ambulance took the bicyclist to Jersey City Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said, and his family was notified.

Police said the suspect's vehicle is a "Blue Acura with partial registration number 20070."
The crash is being investigated by the Hoboken Police Department Traffic Unit. If anyone has information on the crash, they are asked to email Sgt. Edward Sellick at sellicke@hobokenpd.org. Anyone providing information can remain anonymous.
Jersey City Medical Center Paramedics and Hudson County Sheriffs were also on scene to assist the Hoboken Police Department.
