Hoboken's Buddy Valastro Expands to Las Vegas
The Cake Boss is more than just canolis. Valastro is reportedly opening up a restaurant in Las Vegas.
Buddy "Cake Boss" Valastro is about to get lucky in Vegas.
Hoboken's most famous pastry chef is opening up a restaurant in the Palazzo Hotel there, according to the Las Vegas Sun.
Valastro will open up an Italian restaurant — titled Buddy V's — this Fall, the newspaper reported on Wednesday.Â

"Buddy promises that the menu at his new restaurant Buddy V’s will feature 'beloved recipes passed down by my mother, grandmother and aunts,'" according to the Las Vegas Sun.
It's not the first time Valastro is stepping away from sweets to focus on savory dishes, in 2011 the Cake Boss hosted a cooking show.
