Hoboken Shake Shack Is Expected To Open In May
The long-awaited local branch of the burger chain is "going to be a great store come summertime," said a representative.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The Shake Shack store in Hoboken, which was originally expected to open last spring, is now expected to open by May, a representative said Thursday.
The popular burger and milkshake chain at work on its store beneath a new apartment building at 107-111 Washington St., six blocks from the Hoboken train terminal.
Michael Rawlins, the vice president of RIPCO real estate, wrote in an email, "Shake Shack has officially taken possession and is building out their store. Barring any unforeseen issues during construction as it relates to COVID/shutdowns, they anticipate opening in May of this year."

The chain started in Manhattan in 2001 and serves up burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, 'shroom burgers, fries, floats, and five flavors of shakes.
The chain has more than 100 stores in the U.S. and around the world.
