Hoboken Shake Shack To Open Monday, 11 a.m.
The company confirmed that the much-anticipated Hoboken franchise will open at 11 a.m. Monday, complete with skylight and burgers galore.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The Shake Shack burger chain confirmed on Wednesday that its long-awaited Hoboken store on Washington Street will open this coming Monday at 11 a.m.

"Shake Shack is thrilled to announce it will open its doors to its first Hoboken location on Monday, March 29th at 11 a.m.," the company said in a release on Wednesday. "The Shack will be located in the heart of Hoboken between First and Second streets at 111 Washington St., Suite #101."

The location is six blocks from the Hoboken train terminal.
"In accordance with state and county regulations," the company announced, "the 4,618-square-foot Hoboken Shack will allow guests to dine in at a limited capacity." (New Jersey restaurants can currently maintain 50 percent capacity. READ MORE: Hoboken Bars And Gyms Can Move To 50 Percent Capacity)

Additionally, guests can place orders for delivery, to go at the Shack, or preorder for pickup via the Shack app and web.
The eatery will feature a large enclosed courtyard with both a skylight and custom mural by Vizie.
The hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
“It’s been a long time coming, and we can’t wait to finally open our doors in Hoboken,” said Andrew McCaughan, Chief Development Officer at Shake Shack. “As a New York City based brand, we have had our sights on Washington Street for a while. It’s about time we bring our famous ShackBurger across the Hudson.”
The Hoboken Shack will open with a limited menu but will feature all the classics, including the ShackBurger, crinkle-cut fries, and hand-spun shakes.
Shortly after opening, the Shack will also open with limited time offers such as the Avocado Bacon Burger, a cheeseburger topped with freshly sliced avocado, Niman Ranch applewood-smoked bacon, ShackSauce as well as the Avocado Bacon Chicken, a Crispy chicken breast with freshly sliced avocado, Niman Ranch applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, pickles, buttermilk herb mayo.
The company noted, "Shake Shack has been adapting all Shacks to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. The Hoboken Shack will be doubling down on the comprehensive health and safety protocols. Those include requiring team members to undergo health checks before every shift and wear a face mask and gloves at all times, sealing packaging for all to-go orders and more."
"As part of our larger mission to Stand for Something Good," they noted, "Shake Shack has donated more than 5,000 meals from openings in 2020. For the Hoboken opening, Shake Shack will be donating to The Jillian Fund, a financial resource for families and children suffering life-threatening illness requiring critical care."
Cookie shop and other information
The burger and milkshake chain will occupy the ground floor of the newly developed apartment building at 107-111 Washington St., at the foot of Hoboken's main street, six blocks from the Hoboken train terminal.
