Hoboken Suspends Street Cleaning Enforcement
The city suspended street cleaning enforcement on Tuesday after rapidly plunging temperatures left streets covered in black ice.

Hoboken suspended street cleaning enforcement today after a deep drop in temperatures overnight Monday created hazardous driving conditions after another major winter storm.
After the storm dumped up to a foot of snow in parts of North Jersey, temperatures dropped into the teens and single digits in parts of the state, creating black ice conditions on the roads after freezing up a combination of melting snow, sleet and freezing rain.
Payloaders were out clearing ice and snow where possible.
