Hoboken to Receive $15,750 Marketing Grant

Hoboken is one of multiple municipalities to receive money from the state.

Hoboken is getting a piece of more than $553,000 in cooperative marketing grants to promote tourism to New Jersey.

According to an announcement from Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno on Thursday, the City of Hoboken, one of 42 recipients, is set to receive $15,750.

Hoboken is the only recipient in Hudson County.

"Tourism is an important economic engine for New Jersey, particularly along our shore," Guadagno said in a press release. "It's an industry that contributes significantly to the health of our communities by creating jobs and bringing revenue into our municipalities."
