HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken's annual City of Water Day will take place this Saturday, with food, lectures, information on local community groups, and a march to raise awareness of the almost-completed continuous Hudson River walkway from Bayonne to the George Washington Bridge.

See the schedule of various activities and giveaways below.

According to a 1988 state law, all developers along the Hudson River must contribute to a public walkway. Over the years, most sections have been completed, but a few barriers remain. Ultimately, pedestrians and bicyclists should be able to travel the length of the waterfront.
