Homeless Man Charged With Burglarizing Downtown Business
Hoboken police arrested a homeless Jersey City man on Tuesday for allegedly stealing table tops from a building that houses a realty business.

A 47-year-old homeless man was arrested by Hoboken Police after an alleged burglary at a downtown business on Tuesday morning.
Joseph Flores was seen entering 38 Jackson St. on Tuesday around 10:30 a.m., police said.
As police arrived at the scene, Flores walked out of the building with a black garbage bag that contained four 18-inch table tops he had allegedly taken from inside the building, where International Realty is housed.

Flores was inside the building for about 10 minutes, according to the police report.
When police stopped Flores, he told the officers that he is homeless and struggles with an alcohol problem, according to police reports. Flores told police he had gone inside the building to look for work.

Police charged Flores with burglary and theft of movable property. Flores also had a warrant outstanding in Jersey City, police said.
