HOBOKEN, NJ — The city of Hoboken has released its rules for proper disposal of your Christmas tree.

Trees can be placed at the curb on Tuesday and Thursday nights, either at 9 p.m. for Washington Street or 7:30 p.m. for all other streets. Note that Christmas trees are picked up the next morning by a different crew than picks up regular garbage and recycling.

Before you discard your tree, please remember to remove lights and ornaments, tear off all the tinsel, and acknowledge that while it's tough that the fun holidays are over, it also means 2020 is almost over.
