Intruder Wakes up Hobokenite in Middle of the Night
A Hoboken resident woke up to find a complete stranger standing at the foot of her bed.

A 27-year-old Hoboken resident on downtown Garden Street woke up to a complete stranger standing at the foot of her bed on Wednesday morning, police said.
The woman had been asleep since 10 p.m., she told police, and was awoken around 2:30 a.m.
The man — about 5 foot 10 in height — realized the woman woke up when she started moving and left the apartment immediately, police said. He allegedly fled through the kitchen window.

Nothing seemed to have been stolen from the woman's apartment.
Police searched for the man in the area, but didn't find him. No arrests were made.

The woman in question told police she'd ask her landlord to install metal bars at the kitchen window, which leads to a gated courtyard.
