Jersey City Councilman Speaks Up Against Hoboken Garage
Jersey City officials don't like the idea of a Hoboken municipal garage.
One Jersey City Councilman is speaking up against the potential move of the Hoboken Municipal Garage to a development area in his city. Ward E Councilman Steve Fulop is putting an official resolution on the Jersey City council meeting agenda opposing the possible relocation.Â
"We don't need Hoboken Public Works trucks, junk, garbage, noise, and pollution in Jersey City," Fulop said in a statement.Â
During last night's special council meeting, Business Administrator Arch Liston informed the city council that Jersey City Mayor Jerramaiah Healy is vehemently opposed to a Hoboken garage in his city.Â
