New York Man Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Co-Worker with Metal Pot
After a disagreement turned physical in a downtown restaurant.

A 42-year-old New York man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his co-worker with a metal pot in the kitchen of a downtown restaurant, according to police.
Jia Bao, 42, allegedly hit his co-worker, a 42-year-old Queens man, at an Asian restaurant on Second and Washington Streets, after a disagreement about tips, police said.
Another employee witnessed the alleged assault and translated for police officers, according to the police reports, because of a "slight language barrier."

The two employees were fighting in the kitchen on Thursday night when they got into a "shoving match," police said. Shortly after that, Bao allegedly took a metal pot and struck the victim on the head "several times," police said.
The fight was ultimately broken up by other employees at the restaurant.

When arresting Bao, police found out that he has eight outstanding traffic warrants in Hoboken, three in Weehawken and three in Union City, according to the report.
