Man Took Scale Model Race Car From Hoboken Garage: Police

The Hoboken police obtained video and are asking anyone who may be able to identify the man to contact them.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The police in Hoboken said Tuesday that a man trespassed into the garage of a residential building on Grand Street early Sunday morning and took one item: A scale model racecar.

Police say that according to video they obtained, the man entered a residential garage shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, then fled.

The man is described as having a stocky build and wearing a black hat, yellow t-shirt with blue Ralph Lauren Polo logo on the front, dark shorts, black Adidas sneakers with white stripes, and a black backpack with a noticeable stripe on the back.

The person fled the scene on a bicycle with a green bag hanging off the handle bar, police say.
