Mayor Honors Two City Hall Retirees
Honored with proclamation at Wednesday's council meeting.
The city officially said goodbye to two of its long term employees on Wednesday night, by honoring them with a proclamation.Â
Maria Corcoran and Shirley Dennis are retiring and both received the honor from the mayor, after a luncheon was held on their behalf in City Hall last week.Â
Dennis, who has worked for the city for 41 years, is known to sing the national anthem at official events. She said she'd continue to do so.
