This Is The Most Recently Updated Hoboken School Calendar

HOBOKEN, NJ — With parents planning for camp and vacations this summer (especially with the governor's lifting of New Jersey travel quarantines Monday), they may want to know what day the school year ends.

While there are two versions of the Hoboken 2020-2021 school calendar that can be found on the web, the correct one is the most recent calendar approved in March 2021 (linked below). The last day of school has been moved back one day to June 25, a Friday that will complete a full week of half days.

"The last day of school is the 25th," said Hoboken Schools Superintendent Dr. Christine Johnson last week. "When snow days are used in any given year, it pushes the last day of school one day later. We used one snow day this year. Therefore, the last day of school was moved from the 24th to the 25th."

As of Tuesday, there were 29 days left of school inclusive.

Gov. Phil Murphy also announced Monday that there will not be a remote school option in fall, and schools must reopen in person.
