Officials to Call for Ban on Tourist Helicopters Over Hudson River

U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer and other officials will call for a ban on Hudson River tourist helicopters at a press conference Friday morning.

The tourist choppers threaten the quality of life and safety of residents along the waterfront, a spokesman for Menendez told The Jersey Journal.

The officials will gather at 11 a.m. at Pier A Park.
