Olivia's Restaurant In Hoboken To Open Next Month
The long awaited corner eatery on Garden Street has announced a mid-April opening.

HOBOKEN — Olivia's, a new restaurant on a quaint corner of uptown Hoboken, has announced that it will open in mid-April.
The eatery at 1038 Garden St. began renovating its space at the site vacated by the longtime Sasso's Deli back in 2019. It had originally planned to open in spring 2020, but was delayed.

Signage that went up this week announced a mid-April opening and that the eatery is looking to hire.
The corner restaurant is three blocks off the beaten path of Washington Street, on Garden and 11th, with the advantage of a view of a quieter, tree-lined block to look out on.

The eatery has said it will offer "dining and cocktails" and joins a number of new restaurants and businesses opening this spring in the mile-square city. Check out the growing list here:

Jersey Digs reported back in 2019 that the restaurant was owned by Mike Galucci, owner of Grand Vin Kitchen and Bar and former owner of Green Rock Tap & Grill, who would bring an "upscale concept" with American food and drinks.
The menu on the restaurant website has not yet been updated.
