Hoboken Man Charged with Assault at YMCA
Mark Kennedy, 52, allegedly harassed a Hoboken YMCA employee and assaulted another member Saturday.

Hoboken police arrested a Hoboken man after he allegedly harrassed a Hoboken YMCA employee and assaulted another member Saturday afternoon, police said.
Police were called to the YMCA for a noise complaint that one of the members, 52-year-old Mark Kennedy, was allegedly causing a disturbance, police said.Â
Officers walked in, had a chat with Kennedy and left, according to police reports.Â

But when officers were called back to the YMCA, the scene was a bit different.
Kennedy had taken off his shirt, according to reports, and was yelling "f*** you" at another member, a 30-year-old man.

Kennedy had also allegedly gone downstairs after the cops' visit and threatened the employee who had called the police, according to reports. Kennedy allegedly verbally assaulted the employee and also cornered her behind her desk in a threatening manner, police said.
The woman was able to push Kennedy away, police said, and call the cops once more.
Kennedy was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and simple assault, police said.
