Police Blotter: Aggrevated Assault, Trespassing and Lewdness

A 50-year-old Hoboken man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, criminal mischief and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes around 10 0 o'clock on Friday night, after he threatened his wife and 16-year-old daughter, according to police reports. 

According to police reports, Alonzo Williams came home drunk and started yelling at his wife. Police also said that the man grabbed a 9-inch knife from the kitchen and started waving it at his wife and daughter. After damaging the couch and kicking the television in the Jackson Street apartment, Williams left the building, according to police. 

Police then found Williams at the Dunkin Donuts at 38 Hudson Place, according to the report.

Five New York City residents did not have the patience to wait around 6 a.m. on Sunday morning to wait for the official opening of Pier C, when they were caught trespassing on the park, police reports showed. Mayor Dawn Zimmer said Monday afternoon that the park will not be able to open by July 1.

Pier C is still closed off, because the railing on the walkway to the pier is not ready yet. The five New Yorkers were given special complaint summonses for defiant trespassing, police said.  They will have to appear in Hoboken municipal court on Tuesday morning, according to the police report.

One New York woman found a disturbing sight when walking on Jackson Street on Sunday morning around 11 o'clock. Walking to a friend's apartment, she told police according to reports, she heard someone say "hey lady, look." Upon into a ground floor window, she saw a man masturbating, according to police reports. Police said his face was covered by window blinds. When police rang the doorbell of the apartment complex, reports stated, there was no answer. No arrest was made.
