Police Blotter: Arrest Made in Church Square Park

Were in possession of marijuana.

A 25-year-old Hoboken woman and a 25-year-old Jersey City man were arrested Tuesday night around 9:30, after Hoboken police found them on a bench in Church Square Park, as they were about to smoke marijuana, according to a police report.  

Edward Perkins were charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of narcotic paraphernalia, according to the police. Upon closer examination, police found two small ziploc bags with what they believed to be marijuana. 

According to the police report, officers also found "Bluntville Wraps commonly used to roll marijuana cigars" in Perkins' left front shirt pocket.

Tynisha Roches wasn't charged and was let go the same night.
