HOBOKEN, NJ — Don't plan any picnics this Thursday.

The National Weather Service says it will rain Thursday morning, "mainly after 9 a.m.," and continue until 4 a.m. Friday morning.

Friday will see a 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 8 a.m., with an accumulation up to half an inch.

The NWS forecast is:

Thursday: Rain, mainly after 9 a.m. High near 50. Light east wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Thursday night: Rain before 4 a.m., then rain and snow. Low around 32. Breezy, with a north wind 13 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 8 a.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Breezy, with a north wind 18 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 29. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. North wind 9 to 14 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 52. North wind 5 to 8 mph.
