Park Expanded Near Town's Southern Border
This week, the city of Hoboken broke ground to expand the existing Southwest Park in Hoboken's most southwesterly corner near First and Jackson streets. Learn more about the park expansion here: Pop-Up Park To Be Added To Existing Southwest Park.
Art In The Park Registration Reopens
The city of Hoboken has reopened registration for the popular Art in the Park 2021 outdoor classes for kids age 1-4. Register at: www.hobokennj.gov/register
The cost is $45 and includes five 45-minute classes.
Art in the Park is a five week, outdoor, creative program for toddlers ages 1 to 4 years of age.
It includes a craft activity, story time, music, sign-along & more. Child must be 1 year by start of first class and be a Hoboken resident. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and it's best to be dressed in messy clothing as some materials used may stain clothing.
Soccer Signups: Open Enrollment Until June 30
Fall soccer sign-ups began for Hoboken kids this week and will run through June 30. Everyone will be accommodated who's eligible, so there's no need to rush to sign up. Find out more here: Hoboken Fall Soccer Registration Begins.

Liberty Science Center Updates
Got a dinosaur-obsessed child? Among Liberty Science Center's exhibits for all ages, the T. Rex exhibit opened this month.
"When New Yorkers look across the Hudson River this week, they'll be able to catch a glimpse of an enormous T-Rex towering up Liberty Science Center, but they shouldn’t worry too much," LSC told us, "as this isn’t the filming of Jurassic Park 4 — just marking the opening of a brand new exhibit, 'SUE: The T-Rex Experience,' starting on May 22."
