HOBOKEN, NJ — Season 11 of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" debuted on Bravo Wednesday night with the usual drama, rumors, and — of course — plans for a vacation in which the cast will hash out the rumors and drama amid pools and booze.

In the new episode, Theresa Giudice attends a birthday party for Evan Goldschneider, thrown by Evan's wife Jackie Goldschneider. Theresa asks around if anyone has heard that Evan might be cheating. Clearly, it's not the time or the place, and this inquiry does not sit well with either Evan or Jackie.

Theresa later claims she only brought it up because, well, she's heard it. "Where there's smoke, there's fire," she says. Theresa adds that now that she's single, she gets approached by married men all the time, and they think cheating is okay.

Jackie says that it's not the same for her married man. "Leave my married man alone," she says.

Theresa insists she didn't spread it, just heard it. So Jackie uses an analogy that involves Theresa's daughter...oops. Who knew someone could one-up Theresa on bad taste?

On another note...

Next, we visit Dolores Catania and boyfriend David, an obstetrician (who happens to have one of his offices in Hoboken, in one of many Hoboken connections in RHONJ; various members of the Manzo family have lived here). Dolores notes that she and David built a house together, but currently, Dolores is living there along with ex-husband Frank (in a separate room, of course), and Dolores's son Frankie, who's been studying for his graduate exams there during the pandemic.

Clearly David can be a patient guy.

"You designed it," David sums up for Dolores, "Frank built it, and I paid for it."

But David isn't so easy-going about the fact that Dolores had plastic surgery done recently — in three places.

"David is not for elective surgery," Dolores explains.

You gotta admit, a doctor would know of what he speaks. David says, "You didn't need it. God forbid you have a complication." Then he says he's done. Done with the conversation, or more? From recent reports, they're still together.

The Gorgas

Meanwhile, Melissa Gorga shares her heartbreak over not being able to give her teenager a real 15th birthday party during the pandemic. But fear not, they will have a smaller celebration down the shore.

Salt Lake

Bravo followed up the show on Wednesday with a reunion episode for "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," which, judging from just a few minutes, makes the New Jersey housewives sound tolerant and kind. What can we say to that except, "Bravo!"

Stay tuned to future episodes and future recaps. There's no time to write more — there's a real snowstorm on the way for the real households of New Jersey.
