Representation Matters Virtual Film Screening

HOBOKEN, NJ — Main Street Pops, a Hoboken-based pop-up programming company, has created a new virtual film screening with an important purpose- showing how "Representation Matters" in all aspects of life.

This ten-day Video-On-Demand film screening explores two of the key topics facing our nation today; racial injustice and the environment. The collection of film shorts feature inspiring personal stories of people facing racial injustice who overcame adversity to make a change, all with an environmental theme.
Premiering on October 19th with a VOD link that's valid through October 29th, this program has already generated much interest from families, schools and corporations looking to expand their diversity and equity education and these uplifting films not only teach but inspire action.

Originally curated as a virtual film screening for the community, they’ve had such great feedback that they are now providing corporations and other groups the “Representation Matters” films to incorporate into their equity and diversity training goals for this year.

Main Street Pops has partnered with The Wild & Scenic Film Festival to help create this film program to address the important intersection between social justice and environmental issues.
