“Angela and Brandi are the perfect fit to connect my artwork locally. My wife Michelle taught Brandi’s children, and there are so many connections, so it was an easy next step for us. I’m still keeping our gallery on South Avenue, but using it mostly as a studio to create work in and the French Martini will help to showcase the work for the community. Angela and Brandi are a great duo--they are fun, exciting and create a lovely dynamic experience for shopping local,” Roig shared.

The French Martini is known for its unique merchandise, hand selected by owners Brandi Wotanowski and Angela Kurze. The two also partner up with homeowners and retailers to create visually exciting spaces, where they can assist in finding the perfect place for one of Roig’s masterpieces.

“We have always been fans of Ricardo’s work, and have used his pieces in our styling designs in the past,” said Kurze. “We are thrilled to showcase the Roig Collection at 41 Elm Street.”

Roig’s unique artwork is composed of layering colored shapes through openings that he cuts from paper--each work hand cut and hand pulled by Roig in a special screen print process. Overlapping paint, using these paper stencils that he layers to form his art. Each artwork is made by hand, signed and dated by Roig.
