Council to Vote on Pier A Repairs and More Coming Up This Week in Hoboken

On Wednesday night, the Hoboken Boat Cove Boathouse is hosting a fundraiser at the Bier Garten. Tickets are still available and are $30.

One of the resolutions on the agenda, is the approval of ten Class II Special Law Enforcement Officers.

The city council will also be asked to vote on a more than $2 million bond ordinance to pay for repairs to Pier A Park.

Last week, four council members decided not to attend a special meeting. More discussions are expected to follow on the topic of terminal pay for retired firemen.

Before the weekend we visited rehearsals for Seussical the musical at Hoboken High School. Look out for interviews with the cast members this week.

Seussical will be put on Friday May 3, Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5. There's still time to get tickets.

On Sunday, the city is hosting its annual spring Arts and Music Festival on Washington Street, between Observer and Seventh. The festival starts at 11 a.m.
