Secret Garden Tour Returns to Hoboken, Pier 13 Opens and More This Week in Hoboken

One of Hoboken's favorite summer traditions returns this week: the annual secret gardens tour.

On Saturday it's time for the annual Our Lady of Grace Funfest on Saturday June 1, with an appearance by New York Jet Hayden Smith, accoridng to NJ.com.

For a full weekend of Hoboken activities, take part in a tour through eight private gardens on Sunday June 2, hosted by the Hoboken Historical Museum.

The Boken Online has reported that Pier 13 is open for outdoor socializing this summer, since this week. Stay tuned for an interview with Darren Conway about his plans for this summer.

In response to recent discussions during the City Council meeting, Mayor Dawn Zimmer discussed her viewpoints on Vision 20/20 and why she said the project first has to go in front of the Planning Board. Check back on Tuesday to find this story.

The city council will not meet this week, or next. The next regular council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday June 5.
