Hundreds gathered on 11th Street between Washington and Hudson Streets Wednesday night to say goodbye to Maxwell's.
The legendary rock club and restaurant, is closing its doors after 35 years.
While The Bongos played to a sold-out crowd inside, the owners hosted a block party outside, complete with deejays spinning vinyl, food trucks and an insanely long beer line, to bid the Mile Square a final farewell.
