HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken police said on Twitter Wednesday evening that they were searching for a 6-year-old boy who was missing from the southwest corner of town.

However, police reported over an hour later that the boy had been found — hiding under a bed.

Police Chief Ken Ferrante wrote at 7:39 p.m.: "+++++CANCEL ALERT+++++ The 7 yr old was found hiding under a bed at home."
