Storm and Power Outages Hit Hoboken, Washington Street

Hoboken, NJ – While Hoboken was spared much of the damage and power problems that other areas of New Jersey experienced on Wednesday night, locals still saw their share of issues from the evening storm.

As of Thursday morning, the online PSE&G map showed minor outages still remaining in the Washington Street area between 5th Street and the Observer Highway.
“PSE&G crews are on site making repairs to an electrical substation,” Hoboken city officials Tweeted at 9:03 p.m.

“We are out here at 14th and Adams,” one resident wrote on a social media post around 10 p.m.
Hudson County News reported that Washington Street was without power on Wednesday night.
