The weekly summer concert Thursday night will kick off a series of community events this weekend for the city that has been called the state's "most exciting" place to live.

The Pete Seeger Tribute Concert will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Sinatra Park. The event is free and will feature Hoboken musicians and singers performing their renditions of songs Seeger wrote, sang or inspired. Dozens of Hoboken students will also lead a sing-along to start the show.

Yoga in the Park will also be held Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Pier A Park. Glow & Flow with Logan Kinney is a free session. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and water.

News12 New Jersey will broadcast live at 5 p.m. Friday at the corner of Washington and 4th streets.

The Hoboken Irish Festival will be held Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at Sinatra Park. There will be live music, step dancing, Irish food crafts, food, vendors and an Irish soda bread contest. There will also be pony rides, petting zoo, sheep shearing and more for children.

A performance of the "The Honeymooners" will wrap up the weekend activities at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sinatra Park. Members of Canterbury Care and Rehab Center's Drama Club have written and will star in the play, which is based on the old television show.
