Two-Year-Old Wanders out of Apartment Leaving Parents Confused, Panicked
Police picked up the child and returned him to his grandmother and mother on Wednesday night.

A two-year-old was found wandering the A&P in Hoboken without supervision and without shoes on around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.
The boy had made his way out of the Willow Avenue apartment, police said, and crossed the street to Clinton Street, according to reports.
The door to the apartment wasn't locked, police said. In the apartment were the boy's grandmother and mother as well as one other woman, according to police reports.

Police responded to the store, took a picture of the boy and went around neighbors to identify the child, police said. Once identified, the boy was returned to his home, where his mother and grandmother were crying, police said.
The women were in "a state of confusion," police said.

No arrests were made and there was no crime committed, police said.
