Celebrate Hoboken Seltzer Week Through Sunday

Hoboken Happy Hours teamed up with Peerless Beverage Co. to run a week dedicated to hard seltzers. Attendees will have a chance to win one of two grand prizes, both valued at $300. The state-run nature center in Jersey City has been closed since Superstorm Sandy, and that's an awful long time. But Liberty State Park's nature center has finally reopened this week. Find out more here.

American Dream: 2 New Attractions, And Pride Night On The Slopes!

Big SNOW American Dream will host a Pride Night on Friday "in the spirit of inclusivity and equality for all." Pride Night will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. A portion of the evening's proceeds will be dedicated to Garden State Equality, New Jersey's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy and education organization. Make Plans for July 4 Weekend

While Hoboken isn't scheduling events, Jersey City has a food festival and fireworks for all comers, Secaucus has an event for residents, and Macy's and the State Fair at the Meadowlands are having fireworks too.

Take In A Free Outdoor Concert - New Locations Added!

Hoboken, Secaucus, and Jersey City all have free concerts coming to their outdoor areas over the next few weeks. These include Tom Petty and Beatles tribute bands, and more.

And this week, Liberty State Park added a concert series as well.

Liberty State Park Nature Walks And Events

You can take the light rail or drive to Liberty State Park in Jersey City and enjoy beach walks, scavenger hunts, and local history lectures. LSP has released its list of June events, including a horseshoe crab walk for all ages, a talk on the history of the Blue Comet Train that used to run from Jersey City to the shore (it was mentioned in an episode of "The Sopranos"), and more.
