Vote on Noise Waiver for Waterfront Construction Delayed
The city council is still expected to vote on the matter, but on May 15.

Hobokenites who live by the downtown waterfront can sleep tight. For at least two more weeks.
While the city council was planning to consider a noise waiver on Wednesday night for construction of a new waterfront development, the vote has been postponed until May 15.
The public is invited to attend the council meeting on May 15, to hear the developer's — SJP Properties — reasons for the need of a waiver.

If granted, construction work would be allowed to continue on Saturdays, something that is not allowed under the city's noise ordinance.
