Water Main Break on Uptown Bloomfield Avenue Fixed

A water main break was fixed at Eleventh and Bloomfield Streets on Wednesday. The six-inch break was reported in late April. 

United Water was on the scene with a water buffale between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., said City Spokesman Juan Melli.

The water main break follows a string of similar occurances all over town.

Last week, Mayor Dawn Zimmer announced she wants to renegotiate the city's contract with United Water,

There was no boil water advisory in effect on Wednesday.
