NEW JERSEY — Residents of New Jersey are starting to receive the latest round of stimulus payments from the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package signed by President Joe Biden last week, and there's an easy way to check when yours will be sent to you.
In the American Rescue Plan Act, each adult earning up to $75,000 adjusted gross income ($150,000 for a married couple) may be eligible for $1,400 relief per person in their family, including children.
The relief package also includes child tax credits, the expansion of Medicaid benefits for new mothers, added unemployment benefits and healthcare subsidies, money for struggling businesses, funding for the vaccine rollout and for schools to reopen, and more.
