Clean-Up Group Revitalizes Lake Hopatcong Landing Entrance

The group received nearly $1,400 in community support for the project.

What was a once not-so-special entryway guiding residents into the Lake Hopatcong landing is now a quaint little marvel teeming with blooming flowers and miniature American flags inviting residents and visitors into the community.

With the support of the community and local businesses, Let’s Beautify Landing -- a group that hosts cleanups and revitalization projects to keep the community looking tidy -- installed the planters on the chain link fence and bridges near the landing at the intersection of Mt Arlington Blvd and Landing Road.

The group received nearly $1,400 in donations for the completion of the project.
