   Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 30, 2021, by Daniel Wendt.

   Wendt, age 30 of Boonton, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for September 2, 2021.
   In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of Oxycodone on October 26, 2020, in Sparta Township.
