Cops: Drunken Hopatcong Woman Fled After Hitting Pillar Outside RiteAid
Denise Henry, 49, faces DWI and other charges following Tuesday afternoon incident.

A Hopatcong woman was drunk when she struck a pillar outside RiteAid Tuesday afternoon and fled the scene, police said.
Denise Henry, 49, was charged with DWI, failure to signal turn, reckless driving, failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, uninsured vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt.
According to Lt. Thomas Kmetz, a witness reported a white Pontiac had struck a pillar outside the store and drove away at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police spotted the vehicle and pulled Henry over. Henry was given field sobriety tests and was then taken to police headquarters where she was administered an Alcotest.
Henry was charged and released to a neighbor.
