Cops: Hopatcong Woman Wanted for Fraud Caught With Drug Paraphernalia

Jennifer Nicholson was arrested Thursday night at the Roxbury Pathmark.

A Hopatcong woman wanted for fraudulently using a credit card that belonged to her boyfriend's parents was arrested Thursday night and caught with drug paraphernalia, police said.

According to Lt. Thomas Kmetz, police received a tip that Jennifer Nicholson would be going to the Pathmark in Roxbury. Officers stopped her vehicle when it entered the parking lot and found a metal cap with empty heroin folds inside. No one in the vehicle claimed ownership of the paraphernalia, Kmetz said.

Nicholson was charged with outstanding warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nicholson's two passengers, Thomas Scharz, 27, of Parsippany, and Jennifer Kain, 40, of Belvidere, were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia,

Scharz and Kain were charged and released. Nicholson was taken to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of bail.
