Hopatcong Teen Admits to Burglarizing Friend's Home, Lying to Cops
Andrew Priestman pleaded guilty to burglary, theft and obstruction for the 2012 incident.

A Hopatcong teen admitted to burglarizing a friend’s home in 2012 and lying to police about his identity, the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Andrew Priestman, 19, pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary and theft and obstructing the administration of justice, a disorderly persons offense. Priestman is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 12.
Priestman admitted to entering a friend’s home without permission in December 2012 and stealing a PlayStation and games that he then sold at a store, the prosecutor’s office said. Priestman also admitted to lying to police to avoid issues with his enrollment in a Pre-Trial Intervention program, the prosecutor’s office said.
