Hopatcong Woman Accused of Theft
Christine Derosa, 48, failed to return an $800 deposit to a renter for a dock she claimed was damaged during the winter, police said.
A Hopatcong woman has been accused of duping a man over an apparent Shore Road dock rental, police said.
Christine Derosa, 48, was charged with theft for taking an $800 deposit from the victim and not returning it when she claimed the dock was not able to be rented due to damage it sustained during the winter, Lt. Thomas Kmetz said.
Derosa was charged and lodged at the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
