Hopatcong Woman Switches Price Labels At ShopRite, Says Police
Police charge woman with shoplifting for switching labels at ShopRite

She paid for the meat at the register, according to police--just not at the right price.
A Hopatcong woman tried to pull a fast one, according to a story out of the NJ Herald, by switching the price tags on packages of meat at a ShopRite. At about 3 PM on Wednesday, Byram police officers stopped by ShopRite on reports of a customer switching labels. According to what police told the NJ Herald, 40-year-old Hanna Krzyzanowska had been removing labels.
Employees of the market found dumped labels for different prices of meat inside the store, and when reviewing security footage, two suspects were shown to have worked on switching out labels, according to the NJ Herald. The manager caught the individual, but let her check out. After investigation, Krzyzanowska was called to the Byram police station on Aug. 17 and charged, according to what the police told the NJ Herald.
