Kitten Rescued By Hopatcong Fire Fighters And Returned To Owner
The Hopatcong Fire Department was called to rescue a cat stuck in a tree, last Sunday. The animal was safely returned to its owners.
HOPATCONG, NJ — A kitten stuck 35 feet up in a tree was rescued last Sunday, on Musconetcong Avenue, in Hopatcong, by firefighters. The animal was safely returned to its owner, who is a resident in town.
Firefighters weren't sure how the cat got up in the tree but swiftly got him to safety, Sunday morning. It took about 15 minutes to get him back down, with the help of a fire truck.
The cat was not hurt, according to the Fire Department.
