Kiwanis Club Roxbury Donates 1,440 Bottles of Hand Sanitizer
Kiwanis Club of Greater Roxbury donated 360 gallons of hand sanitizer to the Roxbury Recreation Department
Kiwanis Club of Greater Roxbury donated 360 gallons of hand sanitizer to the Roxbury Recreation Department on Wednesday, February 24.
The hand sanitizer will be distributed to all Roxbury Public Schools, Roxbury Police Department, Roxbury EMS and Fire Departments and will also be given to clients’ who receive food from the Roxbury Food Pantry.
“We couldn’t imagine first responders being able to do their jobs without hand sanitizer, so we immediately began working with Paul Bellardini owner of Luigi's Pizza, who donated money for us to purchase an entire pallet of hand sanitizer to be donated to the Township of Roxbury,” said Kiwanis Club President Cain Pope.

"We jumped at the chance to collaborate with Kiwanis Club to help supply the need for hand sanitizer,” said Paul Bellardini, owner of Luigi’s Pizza.
The new Kiwanis Club of Greater Roxbury is wasting no time when it comes to helping the community; it held a free holiday food give-away on December 21, giving away over 5,000 pounds of food; donated surgical masks to area police departments, held another food distribution on February 13 and gave away another 10,000 pounds of food and will be conducting another one on March 14 at Kiwanis Park in Succasunna.
