Meet "SPOKESPETS" Holly and Jackson!
Did you know that the Sparta Ecumenical Food Pantry collects pet food as part of its pet ministry?

SPARTA, N.J. - Did you know that the Sparta Ecumenical Food Pantry collects pet food as part of its pet ministry? The Food Pantry provides groceries for those in need in our area, and also recognizes the important emotional support and companionship pets provide especially in these difficult times.
During the month of June, photos of "spokespets", Holly H. (puppy chef) and Jackson W. (handsome tuxedo kitty) grace the traveling poster on display at Shepherd of the Hills is located at 246 Woodport Road in Sparta. Holly and Jackson, both rescue pets, are "paying it forward" to remind us to put some extra dog and cat food in our grocery carts to add to the Food Pantry collection bin at the church until June 30.
Holly, a seven or eight year old cocker spaniel/shih tzu mix, was adopted from One Step Closer Animal Rescue, (OSCAR). Her family has seen Holly through some medical issues with the expert care of the Highlands Veterinary Hospital here in Sparta. She is very playful and loves children.
