Missing North Jersey 14-Year-Old Found Safe

HAMBURG, NJ - A 14-year-old girl who went missing from her Humburg home early Tuesday morning was found safe Tuesday night, according to the New Jersey State Police.

"I cannot believe I have to post this," Alicia Bilney posted to social media Tuesday morning. "This is my worst nightmare, and I am hysterical and my world is shattered."

According to Bilney, her daughter Savannah Losey went missing from their home between midnight and 1:30 a.m.

"We have no idea where she may be other than with one possible person that we basically have no information on," Bilney said. "We suspect she is still in New Jersey or possibly New York but are not positive."

Losey was entered into the missing children's database and Lt. Jason Tangorra, the officer in charge of the Hamburg Police Department told Patch they were the lead agency with multiple agencies engaged in the search.
