Senior Foundation Donates In Support Of TRIAD Wristband Program

Wristbands given to seniors provide first responders with the number of the sheriff's office and a registration number that may be used to obtain emergency contact numbers and information about the person.

In a emergency, the longer responders know how to assist senior citizens, the greater their chances of mortality. That's why the Sussex County Triad created engraved silicone wristbands providing responders with vital information.

Sheriff Michael Strada accepted a donation this week on behalf of Triad from the Senior Quality of Life Foundation, which will go toward the program.

SEQUAL provides programs to keep seniors active as well as education on resources available to them and their families.

The wristband program provides seniors with bands with the sheriff's office telephone number and a registration number that responders can use to receive information and emergency contact numbers for the person.
