Sports Equipment Drive In Hopatcong To Help Families In Need

Cub Scouts from Hopatcong's Pack 194 are collecting used sports equipment from June 14-18 and on June 26.

HOPATCONG, NJ — Cleats, gloves, practice jerseys, helmets, bats, and shin guards are just some of the types of used sports equipment Hopatcong Cub Scout Pack 194 hopes to collect for young athletes at upcoming drives.

To assist families that could use a helping hand and donate the items to organizations that will coordinate distribution to them, the scouts will have bins set up to accept donated items from Monday, June 14 through Friday June, 18 at the Warriors Football and Cheer Week at Hilltop Fields.

A second drive is scheduled to happen on Saturday, June 26, during the Little League’s party at Vets Field.
